Here at AMES Air Conditioning the health, safety and welfare of all of our employees is of paramount importance to us. We are committed to creating an accident and incident free working environment for the well being of our technicians whilst they are under our employment.
We strive to maintain the highest possible Health & Safety standards in the workplace for our workforce and for our customers. Whilst adhering to Health & Safety legislation, we also aim to exceed the legislative requirements, making sure that even past installation, the equipment is safe to be around.
We are mindful of the industrial environment we operate in and are aware of the significance of this. Working with power tools, heavy equipment, often at heights, in confined spaces and ultimately with electricity and refrigerants we recognise the importance of effectively managing Health & Safety in the workplace and on site.
External bodies have been setup to accredit businesses that operate to industry practices. Below you can view which accreditations we have received and what they mean for our workforce and ultimately for you too.
OUR ACCREDITATIONS
ISO 9001:2023
AMES Air Conditioning Ltd holds and operates a Quality Management System which complies with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for the design, service and maintenance of air conditioning equipment for commercial and industrial applications to include: packaged and split systems; heat pumps; precision air conditioning; chillers and telecommunications.
SAFE CONTRACTOR
Membership No. MT0628
AMES Air Conditioning Ltd are SafeContractor approved. This accreditation certifies that our current and previous health and safety practices are to an extremely high standard.

SSIP
Membership through Safecontractor.
As part of our Safecontractor accreditation, and due to our high standards in health and safety, we have also achieved SSIP membership.
F-GAS REGISTER
The F-Gas Register is appointed by the secretary of state for the environment, food & rural affairs (DEFRA) to operate an F-Gas Certification body under the stationary equipment provisions of fluorinated greenhouse gases regulations.
